Casa Ria Mar

Complying with the allotment from de 80’s to which it belongs, the house formalizes itself as a set of two superimposed volumes. The lower one is made of white concrete, while the upper one has two floors made entirely of dried and painted solid wood.

The two materials help to organize the house, with the ground floor being used for the common areas – living rooms and kitchen, while the upper floors are used for the more intimate uses for a more family-friendly experience in the rooms that support them.

The external continuity of the material on the two wooden floors is reinforced by the continuity of the spaces internally that are extended between the two upper floors, generating double hights and diagonal views.

To the outside, the house opens up generously on the ground floor, taking advantage of the surrounding land. The upper floors opens in a more contained manner, taming the light and solar gains.
